Course will be 100% online: virtual classes on Zoom-platform, homework and teacher’s feedback in Google Classroom. The target of the course is to give opportunity to everyone to study Finnish from any location. Participants will study language in good, motivated class team and with professional teacher´s support for best results.
Students will get instructions and more information by email week before the course starts.
Beginner’s course! Students get to know the basics of Finnish language, practise pronunciation and learn basic vocabulary and grammar. You will practise simple conversations about the course topics and do listening comprehension exercises.
Examples of the contents of the course: learning to know other people, weekdays, countries, languages, the weather, colours, family, time, appearance
Grammar: the verb "olla", negative sentences, interrogatives, genitive, partitive, verb forms
A0 –>A1.2 (level descriptions)
The students learn to get by in simple everyday conversations in Finnish and read short texts of familiar subjects.
They can ask and answer simple questions and tell shortly about themselves and about their life. Students learn to cope in Finnish in everyday situations, e.g. outdoors, in the store, in workplace, the students understand numbers and simple directions.
This course starts from 0, no previous knowledge required.
