Do you need the National Certificate of Language Proficiency in Finnish to demonstrate language proficiency required for acquisition of Finnish citizenship, for work assignments or as part of your studies?
This Finnish language course is developed to prepare foreigners or non-native finnish speakers before the official language test on middle, intermediate level (CEFR scale B1).
The next language test (YKI-test) after this course in Vaasa will be arranged 28.3.2020 by Vamia (Ruutikellaritie 2) and you can enroll yourself to the test here.
During this YKI-preparation course the students will practice every part of the YKI-test – reading, writing, listening and speaking Finnish.
During the first meeting the teacher will introduce YKI-test’s structure, process, and exam rules. Additionally, the students will get a chance to tell their wishes, for example, which kinds of skills they would prefer to develop most of all.
During the course the students will practice these skills with the help of versatile study materials, for example using previous YKI-tests or exercises.
The teacher will give the students personal feedback and recommendations of the skills they would need to practice most of all.
During the course, the students will also repeat and refresh Finnish grammar, expand vocabulary with the help of different topics and get information about YKI-test and its evaluation criterions.
The course includes versatile study materials, homework, distance learning and speech recording exercises in the language studio.
Please note: the price of this course does not include YKI-test. You need to enroll yourself to YKI-test separately.
